My name is Seb (he/they) and I'm currently a fourth-year senior at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). I'm earning a dual degree BA in Media, Art, & Design and French Language & Literature, with a minor in Sociology and certificates in Museum Studies and Arts Entrepreneurship.
I am currently a volunteer at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and I work as an assistant at the UMKC Gallery of Art. I previously held a Folk Art Research internship position at the Mattie Rhodes Cultural Center in the spring of 2026. This gave me the opportunity to co-curate the exhibition "Connecting Cultures Across Kansas City", on display at the Museum of Kansas City until January 2027.
I work professionally as a graphic designer but I dabble in many mediums, my current favorites being printmaking and collage. I'm also interested in curation, archival research, and museum programming.
I was born and raised in the Kansas City metro area and I love my city for its vibrant and unique arts scene. I'm excited to see what more my city has to show me in terms of artistry and creative connections.
